Then there is the covered stands w/ chairs n tables to rest your playslips snax n essentials on. I haven't been to a horse race in years! There is an outside area, nice and clean w/ some tables too for families to watch the races outdoors. When I walked in the only thing that disappointed me was the cigarette smoke! BUT as I made my way through the casino there was an 'oasis' a NON-SMOKING AREA for slot players!! I was sooooo pleased! This area is right near the racetrack and wouldn't you know it it was 30 min to 'post' time! I went in.
Once you go through the doors you are pleasantly surprised at the luxurious elevators, the bathrooms are very, very nice but not well -lit at all! You can hardly see yourself in the mirrors! So if you have moderate to poor eyesight you will have a hard time. On your way down I70 you will see beautiful farms, new homes, mountains, rivers and yes even Wal-Mart! Actually when you see Wal-Mart, you know you are almost there! Anyway, we went early round 11am.there is an open lot w/ lots of spaces or park in the garage which is clean and convenient to the entrance. Anyway, we drove down from Maryland using the directions found on the website. The weather was beautiful, breezy, 'jacket weather'. Hi Everybody!
